1905德国路德维希四世卡尔·格茨奖章 近未流通 KARL GOETZ MEDALS. Germany. Duo of Ludwig IV "the Bavarian" Uniface Cast Bronze Trials (2 Pieces), 1905. Munich Mint. AS ISSUED. Both by Karl Goetz. 89mmx89mm. 1) Kienast-1 (for obverse of medal): Ludwig seated facing on ornate throne, holding scepter and orb; banner around. 2) Kienast-1 (for reverse of medal): Crested helmet within triblobe. A VERY RARE and interesting square trial of each side of this important opus-1 in the massive series of medals issued by famed medalist Karl Goetz. From the Richard Jewell Collection. Ex.
